P3 Coding Mission: Light Up Halloween Town 👻🎃
🎃👻 P3 Coders Save Halloween Town! 👻🎃
This week, Primary 3 were set a spooktacular Halloween coding challenge! 🧙♀️💻
The children discovered that a mysterious witch had cast a wicked spell over Halloween Town, plunging the whole town into darkness on Halloween night! The only way to break the spell was to call upon our clever P3 coders!
Working together in teams, the children had to plan routes and programme their Blue-Bots to navigate through Halloween Town, carefully avoiding some of the town's more frightening residents along the way! Their mission was to reach five different power stations, switching each one on to bring Halloween Town back to life. ⚡👻
Throughout the challenge, the children developed their understanding of key coding vocabulary, including algorithms, sequencing, programming and debugging. They demonstrated fantastic teamwork, problem-solving skills and perseverance as they planned their routes, tested their programmes and debugged any mistakes along the way.
After lots of careful planning, teamwork and fantastic coding, all five power stations were successfully switched on and Halloween Town was finally lit up once again! 💡🎉
What a brilliant job by our P3 programmers! The witch's spell was no match for our coding skills! 🎃👻✨
