WALT - identify the key features of discursive writing

The children explored a discursive text and identified its key features. They worked independently and collaboratively to highlight different features in specific colours, such as arguments for and against, facts, opinions, and conjunctions. This activity helped pupils recognise how discursive writing is structured and how different language features are used to present balanced viewpoints.
