Drama - The Worst Witch

WALT: Use drama and role play to explore characters, settings and events from Chapters 1-3 of The Worst Witch.

The children explored the characters and key events from Chapters 1-3 of The Worst Witch through outdoor drama activities on the Daily Mile track. They worked in groups to freeze-frame scenes from the story, acted out Mildred Hubble's arrival at Miss Cackle's Academy, and used movement and expression to portray different characters. Pupils developed their speaking, listening and teamwork skills while deepening their understanding of the text in an active outdoor learning environment.
