To celebrate Maths Week Ireland 2026, we enjoyed a week full of exciting number activities! We tested our thinking skills with a fun Mental Maths Quiz and took part in a variety of estimation stations around the classroom. We estimated the number of animals in a tub, the number of markers in a container and even the number of ‘pops’ on a poppet before checking how close our guesses were. We also practised our counting skills through a range of engaging activities. It was a fantastic week of exploring, estimating and celebrating numbers, and we loved every minute of it! 🔢⭐🧮🎉
