This week in Numeracy, we focused on counting on, number order and developing our understanding of number through a range of practical activities. Some learners worked hard to sequence numbers from 0-10, building confidence in recognising and ordering numbers correctly.  Some children also explored number formation by using play dough to make different numerals. Another group practised counting forwards and backwards to 20 from different starting points, using number lines and a toy animal to help them "jump" along the numbers. Meanwhile, other pupils explored numbers to 100 using hundred squares, counting on and back, identifying numbers that are more or less, and discussing number relationships! 🔢⭐
