WALT: Recognise, count and form the numbers 1-5.

We had lots of fun consolidating our numbers 1-5 through a variety of hands-on numeracy activities! The children used Play-Doh to make number shapes, helping to develop both their number recognition and fine motor skills.

At the interactive whiteboard, we practised our counting by helping the teddy bears get the correct number of cupcakes. We also built towers with cubes, carefully counting to match the numbers 1-5.

The children enjoyed forming numbers with paint and chalk, giving them plenty of opportunities to practise writing and recognising each number.

These fun and engaging activities helped us build confidence in counting, recognising, and forming numbers while learning through play! 🎨🧸🔢🌟
