European Day of Languages
To celebrate European Day of Languages, our school focused on the Irish language. The children enjoyed using Irish number words during their PE lesson and enthusiastically learnt and sang Ceann, Guaillí, Glúine agus Toes (Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes) in Irish. Working with a partner, they also labelled different parts of the body using Irish vocabulary, helping to develop their language skills in a fun and interactive way. It was a wonderful opportunity to promote an appreciation of Irish language and culture across the school.
