WALT: Identify and use the EE sound in words through outdoor learning activities.

P5A took part in an engaging outdoor phonics lesson focused on recognising and using the 'ee' sound. Pupils explored the school grounds to find and read words containing the target phoneme, working together to identify the sound in different positions within words. They recorded their findings on their Daily Mile walk and discussed the similarities between the words they discovered. Through active learning, pupils developed their phonics knowledge, improved their reading fluency and built confidence in identifying and using EE words independently!
