This week, the children enjoyed a variety of fun, hands-on activities to help them learn about the letter S and its sound, "ssss". ✨

Using paint and pom poms 🎨, the children carefully created the shape of the letter S, developing their fine motor skills while practising letter formation. They also used playdough 🟢 to roll and shape their own letter S, helping them become more familiar with its shape through sensory play.

The children then explored magnetic letters 🔤, searching and sorting to find the letter S amongst the others. This helped to strengthen their letter recognition skills and build confidence in identifying the letter in different forms.

Through these engaging activities 😊, the children practised recognising the letter S, saying its sound "ssss", and developing early literacy skills. We were very impressed with their hard work and enthusiasm! 🌟🐍💛
