Telling the Time
The children worked collaboratively in a carousel-style ABL activity to develop their understanding of telling the time. They explored different daily routines and linked these to specific times throughout the day. The focus was on telling the time to half past, o’clock, quarter past, and quarter to, using both digital and analogue clocks. The children also practised telling the time to the nearest five minutes, helping to build their confidence and accuracy in real-life contexts.
