The children participated in an ABL (Activity-Based Learning) activity focusing on blending and segmenting CVC and CVCC words. Through a range of interactive and hands-on tasks, they practised sounding out and breaking down words into individual phonemes, helping to strengthen their reading and spelling skills. The activity supported their confidence in phonics while encouraging active engagement and collaboration.
