Capacity
Today the children investigated the capacity of water in different jugs. They explored which jugs could hold more or less water by carefully pouring and comparing amounts. The children made predictions before filling the jugs and discussed their ideas with their peers. They used language such as full, empty, more, and less while observing the changes in water levels. Through hands-on exploration, the children developed their understanding of capacity, measurement, and turn-taking, while also strengthening their fine motor skills and confidence in practical problem-solving.
