We have been learning all about the Ancient Egyptians, and one thing is for sure — they loved their jewellery! Today, we explored the different types of jewellery worn by people in Ancient Egypt. The rich and the poor, the young and the old, and even the mummies were decorated with beautiful pieces.

We learnt about the metals they used, such as gold, silver, copper, and bronze, as well as the colourful gemstones that were often included in their designs. The Ancient Egyptians were incredibly creative, so it only felt right for the P5s to get creative too with their very own jewellery making activity!
