We are currently focusing on narrative writing. The pupils have already designed their characters and settings, and today we spent time planning out their stories. The pupils have previously explored how stories are structured with a beginning, a build‑up, a problem, a resolution, and an ending. Using the story mountain as a guide, the pupils then went on to complete their own stories.
