Mummification Process

Today in P5A, we explored the fascinating process of mummification. We learnt that this ancient Egyptian ritual begins with cleansing the body, removing the organs, covering it in natron salt to dry it out, and finally wrapping it carefully in layers of linen. Working in small groups, P5A then carried out each step of the mummification process using a dough body, helping them visualise and understand the sequence in a fun and engaging way.
