In Term 1, we have explored addition. We were reintroduced to Gus the Plus, who helped us remember how to add numbers together. We played a range of fun and engaging games using dominoes, counters and Pom-poms to help us add by counting objects. We also used the part-part-whole model to deepen our understanding of addition. We cannot wait to explore further strategies in Term 2. Some of us are even beginning to add mentally- great work, P2!
