Odd and Even!

The children took part in a hands-on maths task using Numicon to sort numbers into odd and even. They explored each Numicon shape by counting the holes and checking whether they could be paired equally. If all the holes paired up with none left over, the number was even; if one hole was left on its own, the number was odd. This practical approach helped the children understand the concept clearly and explain their thinking with confidence.
