Term 1.1 Play Round Up๐๐๐งช
During Term 1.1, the children took part in a rich variety of engaging play-based activities that supported their learning and development. They enjoyed painting and carving pumpkins, which encouraged creativity, sensory exploration, and early mark-making skills. Small world play with autumnal objects helped develop imagination, language, and storytelling, while fine motor activities using hole punchers and string strengthened hand–eye coordination and finger control. The children also explored curiosity and early scientific thinking through creating potions and observing reactions, promoting problem-solving, investigation, and communication skills. These playful experiences supported confidence, creativity, and a love of learning.
