Today in P5A, we explored multiplication and division with a focus on multiples of 6!

We were introduced to the 6 times table and discovered the pattern it shares with the 3 times table. We talked about what multiplication really means – for example, 6 × 4 means 6 lots of 4.

Next, we learnt how knowing our times tables can help us with division. Each pupil used a template with six circles and a set of objects. We sorted and shared the objects into the circles to see how division works in action.
