P5A Class Charter
In P5A, our class charter is inspired by the beloved characters Lilo and Stitch, reflecting the values of kindness, inclusion, and ‘ohana’—family.
To create a positive and enriching classroom environment, both pupils and adults have agreed to follow a set of rules displayed on a surfboard, designed collaboratively by the children. We began by discussing how we want to feel in our classroom—safe, happy, respected, and included—and used these feelings to guide the creation of our promises.
Following the Hawaiian theme, the pupils also created colourful tiki faces to decorate our display, adding a vibrant and personal touch.
Our charter is rooted in UNICEF’s Rights of the Child, with a strong focus on Articles 12, 28, 29, and 31, which highlight the importance of having a voice, receiving an education, developing talents, and enjoying play.
This charter is a daily reminder that in P5A, everyone matters and everyone belongs.
