To mark National Poetry Day and tie in with our 50th anniversary celebrations, pupils took part in a special poetry-writing activity. They explored their creativity through a variety of imaginative formats, including acrostic and rhyming poems. The standard of writing was exceptional, with each poem reflecting the unique voice and ideas of its author. Aleigh’s poem was chosen as the winner for its creative flair, clever turn of phrase, and strong use of rhyme. Well done to all our budding poets!
