50th Anniversary Model Making and Flag design
As part of the school’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, pupils took part in a range of creative and collaborative activities. One highlight was the construction of a detailed 3D model of the school, showcasing its familiar features and capturing the spirit of the school community. Pupils also worked on designing a commemorative flag, incorporating symbols of faith, learning, play, and the legacy of St Colmcille. These projects allowed children to reflect on the school’s rich history while celebrating the joy and pride of being part of its future.
In addition, pupils reflected on what school life might be like in the future and wrote thoughtful letters to include in the time capsule. Our class also contributed a class photo, examples of schoolwork, and snapshots of daily life. It was a meaningful way to capture the spirit of St Colmcille’s today and share it with future generations.
