Amazing ‘A’ Adventures in P1! 🐜🎶🔤
This week using our Jolly Phonics scheme, we had so much fun learning all about our new sound of the week – ‘a’. We listened to the story and song, spotted pictures that begin with the ‘a’ sound (like our favourite… ant!), and practised forming the letter in lots of creative ways.
We used dabbers to make the shape of the letter ‘a’ and even had a go at writing it ourselves—our pencil control is getting better every day! We loved exploring the sound through games, songs, and hands-on activities.
Phonics in P1 is always exciting, and we’re becoming amazing alphabet explorers!
