We celebrated Science Week from the 10th - 19th March. P5 carried out their own experiment and applied the basic process of mummification to apple slices, linking this to their topic of Ancient Egypt. Before we began, P5 had to decide what materials they needed, their method for the experiment and predictions of what was going to happen. Everyone made an excellent contribution and had great fun too.

During this week, P5 also took part in St Colmcille’s Power Project’s Week. They were able to apply their STEAM skills and knowledge to projects specific to our class topic Ancient Egypt.
