Healthy Lifestyles workshop
Today we were joined by a team from the Dairy Council to learn about having a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
They taught the children about the importance of MILK:
Move your body to keep fit
Inside or outside all exercise counts
Let’s eat milk, cheese and yoghurt for calcium
keep the right balance between the food groups.
The children discussed food and fitness, sharing ideas about their own healthy choices. They learnt a rap to help them remember the steps to take for a balanced lifestyle and tried a dance to encourage them to stay fit.
