Ian from Downpatrick Fire and safety team joined us this morning to teach the P5s all about fire safety and the STOP campaign. The children learnt the importance of turning off all electrical items and closing doors at night time, checking smoke alarms work weekly and changing batteries annually and planning for any emergencies that might occur.
