This week, P5A became familiar with persuasive writing by examining a range of brochures, posters and newspaper articles. We identified key persuasive features such as catchy headlines, powerful words, facts, opinions, rhetorical questions and persuasive language. P5A worked collaboratively to discuss how writers influence their audience and explored different techniques that make texts convincing and engaging.
