Primary 3 have been busy sharpening their spelling skills with some fun, hands-on activities focusing on words containing the ‘sh’ sound!

The children explored different ways to build and spell their words, using paper squares to break words into individual sounds, magnetic letters to build and rearrange their spellings, and even playdough to create their words! ✏️🧲

These practical activities helped the children recognise the ‘sh’ digraph, develop their blending and segmenting skills and grow in confidence as independent spellers.
