👻🎃 Spooktacular Spellers in P3! 🎃👻

Primary 3 have been getting into the Halloween spirit with some fang-tastic spelling activities designed to make learning our spellings fun, exciting and just a little bit spooky! 🕷️🦇

Our little spelling detectives set off on a ghostly spelling trail, searching for hidden words and using special LED light pens to reveal the invisible ghostly spellings! 🔦👻

We then tried some spooky spelling magic, writing our words with white crayons before using highlighters to make them magically appear! ✨

The Halloween fun continued as we put our wind-up spooky toys to work! Mrs O'Dowd called out a spelling word and the children had to identify the correct word before sending their Halloween toys walking towards it! 🎃🕸️

These hands-on activities were a brilliant way to practise our weekly spellings, develop word recognition and build spelling confidence while having lots of Halloween fun!
