John The Baptist

WALT: Understand the special role of John the Baptist and how he helped prepare people for Jesus.

The children learned about John the Baptist and his mission to spread God's message. They discussed how John encouraged people to prepare for the coming of Jesus and reflected on ways we can share positive messages with others. Pupils created their own megaphones and used them to share kind words, messages of faith and reminders about following Jesus. Through discussion and a practical craft activity, the children developed their understanding of John the Baptist's important role in God's plan.
