WALT answer specific research questions about the Titanic and present our findings clearly.

As part of our Titanic topic, pupils developed their literacy skills by researching and answering specific questions about the Titanic. Using a range of sources, they gathered information, identified key facts and recorded their findings in their own words.

Pupils explored questions about the Titanic's construction, its passengers, the events leading to the sinking and the lasting impact of the disaster. They demonstrated excellent reading and comprehension skills as they selected relevant information and distinguished important facts from less relevant details.

Once their research was complete, pupils organised their findings and presented them to the class. Through this process, they developed their speaking and listening skills, confidence in presenting information and ability to communicate clearly to an audience.
