Counting, Comparing and Ordering from Greatest to Fewest! 📿✨

Our P2 boys and girls have been developing their numeracy skills this week by exploring how to order objects and numbers using mathematical language such as greatest, fewest, largest and smallest. 🧮🌟

The children enjoyed ordering numbers and quantities, practising sequencing from largest to smallest and from greatest to fewest. They developed their counting skills, compared different amounts and strengthened their understanding of number order through fun, hands-on activities.

One of our favourite activities was making colourful bead bracelets! 🌈📿 The children carefully counted the beads on their bracelets before comparing and ordering the different quantities, identifying which had the greatest and fewest beads.

It was wonderful to see the children learning through play, using their mathematical vocabulary and building confidence in their numeracy skills! Well done, P2! 💛👏
