P2 have been busy exploring capital letters through a range of fun, hands-on and engaging activities! 🔠✨

The children enjoyed finding capital letters in decodable texts, sorting letters, painting capital letters, playing fun letter games and even building capital letters using Lego! 🧱🎨📚

Through these exciting activities, the children learned that we use capital letters at the beginning of sentences, for the pronoun ‘I’, and for the names of people and places. They had lots of opportunities to recognise, identify and practise forming capital letters while developing their literacy skills.
