WALT: Use digital technology to create and decorate a picture.

As part of our learning about Elmer, the children used the Patchwork app to create their very own colourful digital elephants. They selected an image of Elmer and chose from a range of patchwork patterns, including checks, splodges, and hearts.

The children then explored the classroom, taking photographs of colourful objects to fill each section of Elmer's patchwork body. By clicking on different parts of the elephant and adding their photos, they created unique and vibrant designs inspired by Elmer's famous colourful coat.

This fun digital activity encouraged creativity, observation skills, and confidence in using technology while reinforcing the message that, just like Elmer, we are all unique and special. 🐘📸🌈✨
