National Poetry Day

WALT - Use personification to give classroom objects human qualities and create a poem based on the theme of wonder.

As part of National Poetry Day, P5A explored the theme of Wonder through creative poetry. The pupils used personification to imagine classroom objects coming to life and expressing thoughts, feelings and experiences. They developed their descriptive language skills and created imaginative poems, demonstrating creativity, curiosity and an appreciation of how language can bring everyday objects to life.
