Character Descriptions

WALT: Use literacy skills to create a detailed character description, using evidence from a film to describe a character’s appearance, personality, feelings and actions.

P5A watched The Dream Giver and used their literacy skills to analyse the main character. They identified key personality traits, emotions and behaviours and supported their ideas with evidence from the film. Pupils then wrote detailed character descriptions, using ambitious vocabulary, expanded noun phrases and descriptive language to help bring the character to life for the reader.
