Ascending and descending order

Today, P5B focused on ordering numbers in ascending and descending order. Pupils were each given a random number on their whiteboard and worked collaboratively to arrange themselves in the correct order, creating a human number line. They then reinforced their understanding by ordering sets of numbered cards from smallest to largest and largest to smallest. The activity provided an engaging and practical way for pupils to develop their understanding of number value and sequencing.
