Phoneme segmentation and blending

We have been busy revising our single-letter sounds and developing our blending and segmenting skills. We have been carefully stretching out words to hear each sound before building 3–5 letter words using playdough and magnetic letters. We also had fun playing I Spy, recording the words we found on our whiteboards, and using paper sound squares to show how words can be broken into their individual sounds. Lots of fantastic listening, sounding out and word building in P3B!
