Problem Solving Strategy 1: Make a pattern 🏁

P3B have begun exploring our first problem-solving strategy: Make a Pattern. We used lots of practical resources, including peg boards, Numicon and Multilink cubes, to copy, continue and create our own repeating patterns. We discovered that using letters such as ABAB and AABAAB helped us to identify the part of the pattern that repeats. We also created patterns using different shapes and put our skills to the test with some fun interactive complete-the-pattern games. Fantastic problem-solving and mathematical thinking from P3B! 🌟
