Building and blending words with SATPIN sounds

Today we practised building and blending words using our SATPIN sounds. Some children used magnetic letters to build and read CVC words, helping them recognise sounds and blend them together. Other children formed the letters correctly while saying each sound aloud. Some children worked independently and used paper squares to write the sounds themselves and then arranged them to make different words. This hands-on activity helped us develop our phonics knowledge, letter formation skills and confidence in reading and spelling.
