Remainders

Today we explored the concept of remainders. We used practical, hands-on activities to support our understanding. We shared out different amounts of pasta shapes, buttons, and counters into equal groups.

As we worked, we observed what happened when the items could not be shared equally, and we identified the leftover items as the remainders. This helped us to understand division with remainders in a clear and engaging way.
