Division with Remainders.

We have been learning about division in our numeracy sessions. Today we enjoyed a practical activity where we had to share pom-poms into equal groups. We learnt that any pom-poms left over or remaining are called 'remainders'. We will use this practical session to help set a good foundation for solving division sums with remainders using our times-tables and the bus-stop method.
