Weight

The children used scales to measure and compare the different weights of two objects. They explored which object was heavier or lighter by placing them on the scales and observing how the balance changed. The children made predictions before measuring and talked about their findings with one another. They used mathematical language such as heavier, lighter, and the same while investigating. This activity supported the children’s understanding of weight and measurement, encouraged problem-solving, and helped develop their observation and communication skills.
