Digital Senses Mood Boards

In Literacy today, P5A used their iPads and the PicCollage app to design mood boards linked to our learning. After reading a diary entry from The Literacy Shed, the pupils imagined what it would be like to be characters stranded in the rainforest. They visualised what the camp might look like and, by drawing on their five senses — what they could see, hear, smell, touch and feel — they generated lots of creative ideas. These mood boards will support the pupils in writing more creative and descriptive sentences in our next lesson.
