Bread taste testing session
Today, P5A enjoyed a bread taste‑testing session. Over the past number of weeks, we have been learning all about bread as part of our World Around Us topic. This included exploring the journey from wheat to bread, breads from around the world, how yeast helps bread to rise, and how different breads have different shapes and textures. Today, the pupils had a go at tasting a variety of breads from different countries. These included croissants, naan bread, tortillas, potato bread, Veda bread, bagels, tiger bread and ciabatta. The pupils then rated each bread from 1–10 based on their preferences. It was a fun, hands‑on activity that the children thoroughly enjoyed.
