Science Week 2026 👩‍🔬🧑‍🔬

During Science Week, we carried out an exciting experiment called Exploding Rainbows 🌈🧪. The children began by making predictions about what they thought would happen. Then they completed the experiment using food colouring and baking soda, before testing two different liquids — vinegarand water — to see which one would make the rainbow explode.

They loved watching the reactions and carefully recorded their results like real scientists. It was a fantastic hands‑on way to explore chemical reactions and build their enquiry skills! 🌟
