Investigating Angles and Triangles

Our pupils have been busy exploring angles and triangles this week! Using colourful lolly sticks, the children worked collaboratively to build a range of triangles, including equilateral, isosceles and scalene. They investigated how the lengths and angles changed each time, developing great problem‑solving and mathematical reasoning skills.

The class also had lots of fun using the Angle Monster to hunt for right angles inside their triangles. This hands‑on activity helped them identify and compare different angles with confidence, all while keeping learning active and engaging.

A fantastic mix of creativity and maths thinking—well done, everyone!
