National Storytelling Week

To celebrate National Storytelling Week and to conclude our narrative writing unit, pupils completed the writing of their own fairy tales. They then drew an illustration of their main character and used the app ChatterPix to retell part of their fairy-tale story. I am extremely proud of the excellent writing demonstrated by all pupils and of the creativity shown in the imaginative stories they produced. In addition to this, the children enjoyed a visit from author Ed Wicke who shared some story writing tips and read extracts from some of his books.
