P6B Celebrate National Storytelling Week

P6B thoroughly enjoyed taking part in National Storytelling Week, a fantastic celebration of stories, imagination and the joy of reading. The highlight of the week was a special visit from author Ed Wicke, who came to share some of his children’s stories with the class.

The pupils were captivated as Ed brought his stories to life through expressive reading and engaging storytelling. They loved listening to the characters, predicting what might happen next and hearing about where authors get their ideas from. The visit inspired lots of thoughtful questions, and P6B were excited to learn more about the writing process and what it’s like to be an author.
