Mummification
Today our pupils stepped into the world of Ancient Egypt as they worked in groups to complete a hands‑on mummification task. Using playdough, pretend organs, canopic jars, salt, and tissue, the children followed the steps that Egyptian embalmers once used. They carefully removed and wrapped their model organs, placed them into canopic jars, and created their very own mummified figure. The activity helped them understand the process in a fun, creative, and memorable way—bringing history to life right before their eyes!
